Well so far 2026 has distinguished itself by being one of the most “exaggerated weather” years in recent memory.
To the East of us heavy spring snowstorms and recent multiple thunderstorms have combined to cause massive flooding. Even to the South West there has been rain and the ongoing drought of seven plus years seems to be broken.
Even in the “temperate zone” in-between the East and West polarities there has been generous rains which left standing water laying in the fields or sodden ground smothering out the crop. Too many area are going to be looking at crop insurance just to try and recover the seeding costs.
And to add to the misery there are mosquitoes so thick you can breathe them and a literal invasion of Ticks. Yes Ticks which are rarely seen here but this year are so bad farmers and ranchers are air spraying their yards with insecticides hopping to kill them all.
We all watch the weather forecast and there has been rain forecast daily for close to a month. Folks don’t know what to do with all the water. They understand “dry land farming” but all this rain, yikes!!
Be a farmer they said it will be great to be one with nature!!
And speaking of being “one with nature” I trust you are aware that there has been a significant bump, 3.8 magnitude, in the Cascadia Subduction Zone offshore region near Oak Harbor, WA. Certainly a significant bump to rattle nerves across the Puget Sound and be felt in parts of British Columbia including Vancouver. Accordingly you might be inclined to have a read of the ARMAGEDDON OF CASCADIA to get a “boots on the ground view” of what a violent subduction mega thrust is really like. Also in keeping with real world events around observations and activities of “UFO’s and UAP’s, Unidentified Flying Objects & Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena”. It might be very prudent to start reading the series of books on science fiction called D.A.R.I.A. An AI (artificial intelligence) system whose name is an acronym for Digital Attack & Recon Information Access. Just click the link to purchase all six books from Amazon.

Last but not least if Action, Crime, & Thriller are your forte then a visit to the above website should be rewarding for you. Download and enjoy the read.

Whenever I have the opportunity I like to go out at sunset with the dogs for a walk and pause at the crest of a ridge that allows me to watch the sun fall below the curvature of the earth. It’s a special personal time for me to give thanks for the day and my blessings. The dogs must feel it too as when the sun is disappearing below the horizon they sit and watch thoughtfully.
